THE HISTORY AND FUTURE OF DIADOO STUDIO INTERNATIONAL
DIADOO - "djah - dew". Country of origin - Seychelles Islands.
Diadoo Studio embodies a unique and proud legacy. Historically the Diadoo family name was Seychelles Islands largest trucking company. After the countrie's unfortunate hostile takeover by a communist regime the Diadoo family was forced to surrender it's assets to the new government. In pursuit of freedom the family fled to the USA.
DIADOO STUDIO was founded by Steven Diadoo in 2003. Steven Diadoo is commonly regarded as a "master" of various paint and plaster techniques. The organization provides services around the world and allows clients to begin the process over the telephone or in-person as is convenient. (see, Getting Started)
“Interior Design in the European Tradition” is the organization’s constitution. The theme embodies the heritage of the master artisan who personally designed and installed masterfully crafted paint and plaster finishes; his/her heartfelt and intimate knowledge of their craft included style, preference, prestige, history, culture, faith, emotion, psychology, and mathematics.
DIADOO STUDIO was established to meet the needs of accomplished, intelligent and selective professional men and women who required a highly personalized service. By nature people are reluctant to admit that finding suitable decoration may require assistance. Realistically, such a search is remarkably complicated and beyond the resources available without the help of a professional.
Since inception DIADOO STUDIO embraced global richness and the opportunities that come without geographic limitations. By expanding one’s search beyond borders the possibility of hiring the right artists is naturally improved; combined with licensed designers the process is refined, inspired, and design sensitive.
The company has historically attracted designers, executives, entrepreneurs, formally educated professionals, philanthropists, single professionals, as well as schoolteachers, nurses and stay-at-home mothers.
DIADOO employs a team of on-site and off site artisans to meet the increasing demand for services. The strength of the company, staff, and client base all continue to grow as the company reaches nearly one decade of decorative service.
As part of the organization’s vision and foresight, a DIADOO Book addressing changing trends and techniques is forecast for publication in the upcoming months. Continuing education coursework and for artists and designers is also projected for the near future, with formal educational programs through the DIADOO LÉCOLE and staff designers. Already established, the Surgical Friends Charitable Foundation continues with humanitarian efforts to give back to the community, DIADOO STUDIO continues to support through various promotional strategies.
Gilbert Diadoo
Gilbert is responsible for overseeing construction permits and construction strategy formulation, and is involved in project managment, completion, team building and coaching. Prior to consulting with DIADOO STUDIO, Gilbert was founder of Diadoo Enterprises, a direct selling and coaching firm that grew to 500 independant sales distributors world wide. Gilbert manages drywall repair, sheetrock installation, light construction, deck replacement and general light construction.
Steven Diadoo, Founder and Art Director/Artisan
Steven has been painting for 11 years. He has a background in classical european faux finishing, art, art history, architecture, design, graphics, drawing, painting and small business entrepreneurship, training, sales, motivation and inspiration.
Steven attended a small local college in Minnesota with an emphasis in art history and painting. He worked for APT Instruments restoring and refurbishing rare automotive parts. During most of his school years Steven worked for Macy's / Marshall Field's as a customer service and sales associate. He was awarded perfect scores for customer service and top sales in his department. He also attented an estimated 450+ sales/leadership seminars where he was occasionally invited to speak.
Prior to launching DIADOO STUDIO Steven worked as a painter of multi-million dollar homes for Richtone Painting and Tenet Painting.
Steven attended Faux Effects Foundational training in Vero Beach, Florida which helped launch his career in decorative paint and plaster by launching DIADOO STUDIO in February of 2003.
He later apprenticed with Scott Porter of Twin Cities Faux Institute, Carter Averbeck of Trompe Decorative Finishes, Steve Miller of Woodbury Painters and local N.A.P.P. (National Association of Professional Painters) representative and Eli Lucero of Artistic Wall Finishes in Mesa, Arizona who he regularly counsels with to this day.
His trompe l'oeil, marble and woodgrain techniques follow those taught by best selling author and world-class master finisher Pierre FInkelstein.
In 2007 Steven was awarded "Best Project, Viewers Award" by Cutters Television show Paint, Paper and Crafts for his elaborate trompe l'oeil mural. He went on to appear on Paint, Paper and Crafts to teach his methods for which he won an award for, grissaille Trompe L'oeil.
In 2009 Steven was featured in ID-Digest and offered a position as modorator for TalkFaux.com. The same year Steven was called to be listed as top 5 finishers in Minnesota by the ArchitectMall.Com.
In May of 2010 Steven's newly developed crocodile skin technique will be featured on DIY Bathtastic Tv show. Now available for purchase as a hand-made wallpaper.
Andrea Brovold - Interior Design, Consulting
Andrea received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and her Associates of Applied Science in Chicago, Illinois and the Harrington College of Design for Interior Design.
Residential interior design is Andrea's passion. She strives to bring timeless design to the custom spaces she so eloquently creates for her clientele.

Shannon Clark - Historical Coatings Expert / Artist
Clark studied studio art at USC and honed her skills as a decorative artist and muralist through several advanced level courses most recently in Italy with notable masters of the industry Pierre Finklestein, Nicola Vigini, Pascal Amblard and Sean Crosby. She has also been invited to train with Kelly King and Modern Masters for a new line of professional grade green plasters and glazes.
Shannon's expertise is in the area of authentic classical painted European style and design. She is an encyclopedia of history and art history. Her level of understanding and knowledge on historic finishing is virtually un-matched in the decorative industry.

Graduated with a masters degree in management from Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture Alexey provides DIADOO clients the future of design, today - 3D.
Over the last 7 years Alexey has developed a wide range of 3d content including commercials, intros for games, game screens, architectural presentations, icons for applications, modelling and visualisations of prototype devices, 3d stills, post-production, video tutorials using 3DS Max, After Effects, Photoshop, Eyeon Fusion, RealFlow, Mental Ray and V-Ray, etc.
